The western tradition of clinical medicine is not the only relevant one. Complementary medicine is now becoming main stream. It has recently been reported in the Annals of internal Medicine that there are more visits to complementary physicians in the U.S. than there are to so called "orthodox" physicians. Canadians are also demanding the right to seek practitioners, treatments and health products of their choice.

We value the experience of the traditional health system but believe we must have the right to choose our own duality of life. To do so we must develop natural approaches to healing.

We encourage all types of knowledge and recognize that each needs to be subjected to critical scrutiny from within its own sphere. Research, particularly focused on prevention, is the most economically efficient method to improved health care.
