We
offer a comprehensive program for assessing and treating the
causes of aging. Health is not the absence of disease but
optimal function of the emotional, physical and spiritual body.
Here is an outline
of our preventive program:
Assessment
1. History and Physical
An awareness of your predispositions to certain diseases is
valuable in developing your wellness plan. Also essential is a
thorough exam and identification of risk factors.
2. Blood Analysis
Extensive testing to evaluate your current health status.
3. Hormonal Profile
Estrogen, Progesterone, Testosterone, DHEA, Thyroid,
Growth Hormone,
Melatonin.
4. Biological Age Assessment
H-Scan, Tanita Scale, Cardiovision and
Dynamometry testing tell your “real” age.
5. Toxic Metals Analysis
Toxic metals, such as lead, mercury
and iron are in our food, water, air and even our teeth. These
metals promote the production of free radicals, which have been
associated with heart disease, cancer, arthritis and other
premature aging.
6. Nutritional and Exercise Assessment
Even those who believe their current
regimen is good will learn.
7. Oxidative Stress Assessment
A good measure of antioxidant reserves
- your body’s ability to combat free radicals and thus prevent
disease.
8. Menopause / Andropause Assessment
Gonadal hormone levels affect men and
women. Evaluation of symptoms experienced by men and women.
"Aging is a Treatable Condition"
Treatment of Previously Un-identified Conditions
Thorough testing may uncover opportunities for renewed
health.
Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy
Due
to their interdependency, a balanced approach to replacement is
pursued. Women have alternatives to Premarin and Provera that
are more natural and less of a risk for cancer.
DHEA
supplementation can offer benefits to men or women who have low
levels.
Growth Hormone (somatotrophin) levels also decrease with age.
These decreases are associated with some of the more undesirable
aspects of aging: increase in body fat, decrease in bone
density, wrinkling and decrease in skin thickness, memory loss
and poor libido.
Chelation Therapy
Heavy metals can be removed with EDTA chelation. Other benefits
include removal of blood calcium associated with
atherolsclerosis and heart disease. Those with high mercury
levels can be chelated with DMPS.
Supplementation
In
addition to recommending vitamin and minerals, we will recommend
supplements to address your specific needs and concerns.
Nutrition and Exercise
Specific recommendations for you.
Cost:
Costs will vary with each person. An initial 1 hour consultation
is $360. Full assessments will be in the range of $2500 to
$3000. Individual estimates will be provided.
